Fantastic Illustration blog. One to keep in your favorites.

Don't know about you guys, but I love skate decks. If you share this passion, here's a good place to bid on some very cool and exclusive boards. Via: NOTCOT

This must be one amazing film! Let me know your opinion if you seen it. Via: NOTCOT / FLYLYF

Eye Petrol is an online magazine, in which its content is online user generated, basically you submit your work, and if it's good enough, you and the world will see it in the downloadable magazine. So if you want to show off your work, here's a good chance. Thanks to Bob Ferraz for the tip.

I recommend you check the very cool illustration work featured on Art Director/Illustrator Vanessa Teodoro's' blog ---> The V Illustrations

Here's another video of what must of been a great place to get your creative juices pumping. The Cans Festival. I would of loved to have been there. Via: NOTCOT / High Snobiety

Wierd but fantastic animation by Blu . Via: Wooster Collective

This one definitely falls in the "I want one of those" category. I love these and I'll surely be trying to get hold of one. More about the project here . Via: swissmiss

Apparently this competition has been around for some years (since 1997). I have never heard of it before, but it is a very cool concept by Red Bull. Basically, any one with a creative flare can enter, and the principal is to make an art piece using a can of Red Bull as the primary material. So if you have some spare time and can of Red Bull, why not give it a try?

I love this Obama phenomenon, cool projects just keep popping along. I don't think any ad agency could create such a buzz, sometimes it really is in the character of the person/product and a bit of luck. A good "product" sells for it self, you just need to know it exists. Via: NOTCOT

Very cool project by David Ellis in collaboration with Doze Green, a musical sculpture featured at FIFTY24SF Gallery. Via: Wooster Collective

I wish I was there when this happened. Some type of flash mob consisting of 100s of people just freeze all at the same time. Awesome! This is what Improv Everywhere say about the project: This is one of over 70 different missions Improv Everywhere has executed over the past six years in New York City. Others include the No Pants Subway Ride, the Best Buy uniform prank, and the famous U2 Rooftop Hoax, to name a few. Visit the website to see tons of photos and video of all of our work, including behind the scenes information on how this video was made. How about having these guys decorating your office? Jaw-dropping art from WK Interact and Obey Giant . Via: Wooster Collective

I am lost for words to describe the beauty of these books. I don't know if they are actual pages of the book that are cut, or if it's made with collage. Anyway, they're amazing! You can read some information about the artist on Wikipedia . Via: swissmiss / xblog

This is an amazing project by Mikontalo , I'm a huge fan of Tetris, so to be able to play it on a building, there's just one word, WOW! Come to think of it, you don't even have to like Tetris to want to give it a go. Beats any PS3 (at least for a few minutes)! Via: Wooster Collective

These are some samples of the crafts done by my good friend Filipa, she's taken some time off copywriting to dedicate herself to other forms of art. Check her new blog posh crafts .

This Sunday I went to Crafts & Design fair in Jardim da Estrela (Lisbon, Portugal), it's a modern crafts fair which in winter happens every first Sunday of the month. I advise anyone who has a chance to go and visit, it's a great place to buy presents for your other half, or yourself of course. Also with Christmas fast approaching its ideal to buy original gifts for your friends and family. In December the fair will take place on the first and second Sunday of the month. Anyway, here's some of the work by two artists you can find in one of the stands ---> http://www.amigos-do-monstro.blogspot.com/ These figurines are mostly made out of wood from cuttings of fruit trees in farms, so as the artists don't have to buy almost any material, they sell these fantastic figures very cheap, prices are in average between €10 and €20.
